Kitchen renovation in central Brussels
Discover how VelGon transformed Sanna’s apartment in the heart of the city center with our wood kitchen and hexagonal tile project.
The work began with a complete demolition of the old kitchen. We installed beautiful hexagonal tiles, giving the room a unique design.
A functional wooden kitchen
The project began with a thorough reflection on the kitchen design. We worked closely with Sanna and her partner to understand their needs and tastes. Together, we developed a plan that would transform their existing kitchen into a stylish and practical space.
Our team of professionals began by demolishing the old kitchen, ready to be transformed. We then installed three-color hexagonal tiles, giving the room a unique and captivating look. An additional challenge was cutting hexagonal shapes into the existing parquet flooring, which was glued to the floor, in order to create a seamless transition between the spaces.
Electrical and plumbing work
At VelGon, we take pride in our expertise. We upgraded the kitchen’s electrical and plumbing systems to ensure safety and compliance with the latest standards. We also made smart improvements to provide Sanna with a space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Custom worktop & made-to-measure furniture
For Sanna’s kitchen, we chose a handleless wood-effect laminate, adding a modern touch to the space. In addition, we created custom wall cabinets with a height of 117 cm, providing generous storage space for all utensils and supplies.
The worktop is the focal point of the kitchen, which is why we chose a smart combination of laminate and 2 cm Dekton Tundra.
